The Gold 100 Honors the 100 Largest Trade Shows in the U.S.

ST. LOUIS, MO (July 20, 2023) — Commodity Classic was recently recognized by Trade Show Executive Magazine as a Gold 100 Honoree, which salutes the top 100 trade shows in the country that set the Gold Standard for exceptional experiences.

The rankings of the Gold 100 honorees will be unveiled during TSE’s Gold 100 Awards & Summit taking place Sept. 13–15, 2023 at the Fairmont Del Mar in San Diego, CA. The summit is a celebration of winners as well as the trade show industry’s robust post-pandemic recovery.

“We are excited to recognize and celebrate the trade shows that represent the biggest and best of our industry with our Gold 100 program,” said Gabrielle Weiss, TSE Vice President and Editor-in-Chief. “It’s clear our industry’s rebound is in full swing. We are all excited to see these longstanding, iconic shows continue to make the Gold 100 list.”

In 2019, Commodity Classic was identified by Trade Show Executive Magazine as the 86th largest U.S. trade show in any industry. Additionally, it ranked in the top 50 among the fastest-growing shows in three categories, which were based on total square feet, number of exhibitors, and number of attendees. Commodity Classic was the only agricultural trade show to be recognized in all three categories.

“Commodity Classic has seen phenomenal growth in recent years, with 2023 in Orlando being our largest show to date with over 10,000 attendees,” said Brandon Hunnicutt, a Nebraska farmer, NCGA member, and co-chair of the 2024 Commodity Classic. “Because of our show’s exponential growth, we’ve added more show floor space in Houston for 2024 to accommodate all of our guests at farming’s premier event.”

The 2024 show, “New Frontiers in Agriculture,” will be held February 28–March 2, 2024 in Houston, TX.

Commodity Classic provides farmers with a unique combination of outstanding education, top-notch speakers, technology and innovation, a huge trade show, entertainment, and the opportunity to network with thousands of farmers and agricultural innovators from around the world.

Established in 1996, Commodity Classic is America’s largest farmer-led, farmer-focused agricultural and educational experience. It is presented annually by the American Soybean Association, National Corn Growers Association, National Association of Wheat Growers, National Sorghum Producers, and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers.
